180 degree Extended Rotation wall bracket for BeoVision 7 55 with optional speaker mount for BeoLab 7.6 or BeoLab 10.
The BV7 55 ER has been developed to give a rotation of 90 degrees to the left and right when the Bang & Olufsen television is combined with BeoLab 7.6, giving a total rotation of 180 degrees. There is not a tilt function. Visually, the bracket is finished in the same soft touch black paint that is used on the rear cabinet of BeoVision 7 55, and whilst the bracket is very large, internal cable management does allow you to keep the rear of the TV tidy. The bracket is supplied with fixing covers on the sides of the wall plate and we have also created an opening within the wall plate to allow cables to pass through the bracket and into the double arm mechanism.
To special order, we can paint this bracket to any colour. However, we would require you to specify a colour code and we require a maximum lead time of 6 weeks.
This bracket is ideal for corner mounting or where additional rotation is required. The extended movement also allows the television to be concealed within the wall and then pulled out for viewing as shown in the movie clip.
Before confirming that you can use this bracket, you must satisfy yourself that the wall structure is suitable for mounting a 90 Kg television plus a 35 Kg wall bracket at a distance of up to 950mm from the fixing point. Our advise is that you consult an architect or structural engineer. STB will not accept any liability where the wall fails due to excess loading. The heavy duty bracket can only be used on secure walls and where the installer has surveyed the structure and is satisfied that the wall will be secure under the extreme loads of the TV and speaker.
We can supply an optional wall plate BV7 55 ZP as an accessory part. Designed to allow you to bolt through the wall surface to increase stability, this plate has been specially ZINC plated to protect against rusting. The plate has a very bright finish and so you may choose to paint the plate prior to installation. You must ask for a structural survey from a qualified engineer before installing either the BV7 55 ER or BV7 55 ZP.
When positioned next the the wall, the front of the screen is 240mm from the wall. When extended fully, the front glass is 780mm from the wall. Rotation to the left and right is possible. With BeoLab 7.6, the bracket will rotate by up to 90 degrees to both the left and right. With this bracket, the centre speaker rotates at the same time as the screen and so the audio intelligibility of the system is retained.
