Beosound Theatre Manual - Wall Bracket Pull & Rotate The wall bracket allows Beosound Theatre installation with screens from any manufacturer, up to a size of 77".

Because the bracket uses the Bang & Olufsen SMI - Screen Mount Interface (not supplied by STB), any screen can to be perfectly positioned over Beosound Theatre. This bracket is compatible with SMI parts: 1310700 / 1310800 / 1311300. Your Bang & Olufsen dealer will advise on the best SMI for your TV screen.



The pull out facility gives several benefits to the user and the installation engineer:

• It is easy to install and connect cables and it is easy to add new devices to the system in the future.
• In some design installations, Theatre and the screen will be pushed back into a hole in the wall and become integrated within the wall.
• Theatre can be pulled forwards and turned to the viewing angle required.

When the screen is correctly positioned over Beosound Theatre using the Bang & Olufsen SMI, the TV screen will be 165mm from the wall and can be pulled forwards to 550mm before turning to the left and right to get to the connections.

Rotation Angle to the Left and Right is set by the size of the screen. A larger screen will hit the wall before a smaller screen:

• 55"  Rotation Angle = 45°
• 65"  Rotation Angle = 40° 
• 77"  Rotation Angle = 24° 

Beosound Theatre Close - Gypsum Arm set The optional, wide extension arms - 'Gypsum Arm set' - can be used when the installation engineer needs to find the vertical mounting positions within a gypsum (plaster/dry/stud) wall. These extension arms are not needed for a normal brick or block wall.

Beosound Theatre - P&R Adapter If your installation already has a Pull & Rotate bracket from 2003 - 2020 we offer an adapter for Beosound Theatre. Because we have made a large range of options and many custom solutions too, we need you to confirm some details before ordering the adapter. The main pole must be 20mm diameter (we do not support the 15mm pole) and the wall bracket will have a height of 510 or 600mm (we do not support 720mm). Decoder mount It is often a requirement to mount decoders, routers and other devices to the rear of TV systems. Beosound Theatre - Decoder Mount has been specially designed to mount a decoder / router / accessory box at the rear. It is possible to mount one box to each side of the SMI as shown in the images. A decoder 70mm deep can be installed when Theatre is pushed back to the wall, If you have a larger box to mount, the system can be pulled forwards.
